Dublin ambulance review postponed amid protest
The Dublin City Manager said a review of Dublin's ambulance service has been suspended.
Patricia King told hundreds gathered for a protest march that it will only happen after a national review.
SIPTU had expressed concerns about HSE plans to remove the delivery of Dublin's ambulance service from DFB, by 2015.
Around 200 members of Dublin Fire Brigade and their supporters staged a protest at Dublin's at City Hall this evening.
The firefighters - who are also first responders and advanced paramedics - have been providing the service for over a hundred years.
