Man appears in court in connection with Dublin hatchet attack

A man has appeared in court in Dublin charged with attacking a 38-year-old man with a hatchet in the inner city over the weekend.

Paul Doyle is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit in the face at an apartment just off Dorset Street in the early hours of yesterday.
