TV presenter, Stewart, may run in European elections

A high-profile TV presenter and environmental campaigner says he is considering running in the European elections next month.

Duncan Stewart says he is looking at the different options, and he will make a decision in a couple of days.

He says if he did run for election, it would be as an independent candidate, but he has refused to be drawn on which constituency he could look to run in.

Mr Stewart says he understands the sacrifices he'd have to make as a politician.
