Gardaí investigating St Patrick's Day assault release teens

Two teenagers have been released without charge in connection with an assault on a man on Aston Quay on St Patrick's Day.

The two were arrested in the Dublin 2 area yesterday evening in connection with the assault on a Brazilian student.

The attack on the 30-year-old was filmed and went viral on social media.

Two boys aged 16 and 17 were arrested yesterday.

They have now been released from custody and files are being prepared for the DPP.
