Edenderry murder probe - man released

Gardaí have released a man arrested in connection with the murder of an elderly man in Co Offaly.
The 19-year-old male was released without charge by gardaí investigating the murder of Thomas (Toddy) Dooley in Edenderry earlier this month.
The 64-year-old was found dead in his home in Sister Senan Court on February 16. He had sustained injuries to his head and body.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí are continuing to detain two males aged 19 and 24 at Birr and Portlaoise Garda Stations.
