Ombudsman carried out security sweep 'after confidential details known to garda'

It is reported that the Garda Ombudsman Commission carried out a security sweep of its offices after a senior garda appeared to have information about a case being investigated by them.

The Sunday Times reports that the level of detail known by the garda last summer was one reason GSOC hired a British firm to examine internal security.
