External recruiters hired to fill CRC board

The HSE has hired external recruiters to find new board members for the Central Remedial Clinic.

Health Minister James Reilly has confirmed that the CRC's interim chief executive has hired charities firm Boardwatch to find new directors for the organisation.

A HSE administrator has been running the charity since its entire board resigned before Christmas.

The interim administrator is expected to finish his investigations into the management of the charity's funds by the end of March.
