Justice Minister Alan Shatter has again ruled out the prospect of an independent inquiry into allegations of bugging at the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC).

Speaking in an RTÉ Prime Time interview with Claire Byrne this evening Minister Shatter says he is willing to appear before TDs at an Oireachtas committee to answer questions - but says there are no grounds for an external inquiry into the claims.
