Defence Forces called to help airport gardaí 324 times last year

The Defence Forces were called in to assist Gardaí in policing at Shannon Airport more than 300 times last year.

Defence Minister Alan Shatter has revealed that Gardaí asked for help from the Defence Forces on 324 occasions during 2013.
