Female cyclist dies five days after crash in Kerry

A cyclist has died in hospital in Co Kerry after being injured in a road crash last week.

The woman - who was in her forties - was hit by a car at Rathass in Tralee at around 8pm last Wednesday night.

She was taken to Kerry General Hospital where she died last night from her injuries.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
