Cannabis seized at Rosslare harbour

Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €90,000 has been seized by the Revenue Customs service at Rosslare Europort.

Around 4.5 kilograms of the drug were discovered by Revenue's sniffer dogs 'Ralph' and ‘Defor’, after it was found concealed in two gas cylinders in a vehicle that had disembarked from the ferry from Cherbourg.

A UK national has been detained for questioning and investigations are on-going.
