Veronica Guerin case allowed to proceed in miscarriage of justice bid

A court has ruled that Brian Meehan can proceed with his bid to have his conviction for the murder of journalist Veronica Guerin declared a miscarriage of justice.

The Director of Public Prosecutions had applied to have the case struck out before the hearing.
