There are calls for an independent investigation into the €108m spent on the Poolbeg Incinerator in Dublin.

Dublin's City Manager, Owen Keegan, yesterday warned that the taxpayer could also be facing a massive legal bill if plans to scrap the project go ahead, which could add to the €96m already spent.
