Man and woman due in court over pensioner's death

A man in his 20s and a woman in her 30's are due in court this morning charged in connection with the death of Thomas Horan.

A man in his 20s and a woman in her 30's are due in court this morning charged in connection with the death of Thomas Horan.

The 63-year-old was discovered at his home in the early hours of Monday morning.

Thomas Horan, originally from Mullingar, had been living for the last three years at Cambridge Court, a housing complex for senior citizens run by Dublin City Council.

His body was found by a friend who called to the house in the early hour's of Monday morning.

A post mortem examination revealed that he died from internal injuries.

A man in his 20's and a woman in her 30's will appear before Dublin District Court at 10.30am this morning.
