Fatal Donegal house fire not suspicious, gardaí believe
Members of the garda forensic team have carried out an examination at the scene of a fatal house fire in county Donegal yesterday, which claimed the lives of two sisters in their 20s.
The blaze broke out at a house in Ceanann View in Letterkenny yesterday morning.
24-year-old Jody Brogan and her sister Angeline, 28, died as a result of the fire.
An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire but it is understood the cause of the blaze is not believed to be suspicious.
The house was sealed off while gardaí examined the scene today.
Post mortem examinations are being carried out on the bodies of the two girls today.
