Boy, 12, rescued from River Boyne

A 12-year boy has been rescued from the River Boyne in Drogheda.

He has been taken to hospital with slight hypothermia.

It is believed he fell in at the bridge while playing with friends. He was rescued at approximately 6.30pm.
