Man arrested over Ballymun stabbing

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Dublin earlier this week.

A man and a woman were taken by ambulance to hospital with stab wounds following an incident at a house in Ballymun at around 10am on Monday morning.

A 24 year old man was arrested in Dublin City Centre earlier this afternoon.

He is being detained in Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The man is due to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice tomorrow morning.
