Higgins addresses world leaders on Mandela

President Michael D Higgins has told world leaders the best way to honour Nelson Mandela is to use his values to deal with modern day challenges.

Mr Higgins was asked to speak on behalf of Ireland and the European Union at a special lunch marking the first day of Mr Mandela’s lying in state.
