Justice Minister Alan Shatter has denied that the reputation of An Garda Síochána has been damaged as a result of the findings of the Smithwick Tribunal.

Minister Shatter has apologised for any shortcomings on behalf of the Irish state and says he will raise the findings of the report - which was published yesterday - in the Dáil.
