Survey finds shocking level of schoolchildren going hungry

One in five Irish children goes to bed or school hungry because there is not enough food in the house, according to the charity Healthy Food For All.
It also found that 13% of children never have breakfast on weekdays.
The shocking statistics have been revealed at a food poverty conference in Dublin this morning.
According to the charity, almost half a million people in the country are affected by food poverty, which is defined as the inability to afford or access healthy food.
