Cork man charged with driving causing death

A 26-year-old Cork man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death on connection with a crash in which a woman was killed and four others injured.

Sean Casey from Corragannive, Skibbereen was brought before Clonakilty District Court today and charged in connection with the crash on April 8 this year.

He was charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Megan Johnston and also faces a drink driving charge.

The accused was returned for trial at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
