Labour senator found with serious head injuries in Dublin

Senator Jimmy Harte is seriously ill after been discovered on a city street with head injuries in the early hours of the morning.

The Labour Party politician, from Letterkenny in Co Donegal, was found injured at Newmarket Square in Dublin’s south inner city at around 3am. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital – which specialises in head injuries – where his condition has been described as serious.
