State of the art facility for children with heart problems to open in Crumlin
A new state of the art facility for children with heart problems is due to open tomorrow at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
The €4.5m needed to build the unit was raised entirely through private donations and charity fund raising.
It includes a 25-bedded dedicated infant and child cardiac unit along with support accommodation and services for families and staff.
Tara Moore’s four-year-old daughter is in need of a heart transplant and she said that the facility will make the ordeal a lot easier on them.
