Brothers shot in Ballymun overnight

Two brothers in their 20s have been injured in a shooting in Ballymun in North Dublin.

Gardaí say one man was found with leg injuries on Dolmen Terrace, near Balbutcher Lane around 1am this morning.

A second man was discovered, also with leg injuries, on nearby Sandyhill Court.

The brothers have both been taken to hospital, where their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are now investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
