Overseas employment expo takes place in Dublin

An 'Opportunities Overseas Expo' will take place in Dublin today with employers from Canada, Australia and New Zealand due to attend.

The companies are looking to attract and recruit Irish workers to work overseas with up to 2,000 jobs on offer.

Companies are looking to fill positions in the service industry and health care division along with medical technology, IT, engineering and construction.

"[In] Canada there's about 00 jobs in British Colombia construction, but across the board there's overt 2,000 jobs in New Zealand, Canda and Australie, in all different sectors," said Scott Mathieson, CEO at Working In.

All the jobs available are listed on workingin-events.com.

The expo gets underway in the Croke Park in Dublin today from 10am.
