Labour loses another politician as Kerry councillor O'Grady leaves

A Kerry councillor has become the latest Labour politician to resign from the party.
Former Mayor of Killarney, Sean O’Grady says the Fine Gael-Labour coalition is the most right wing Government he has ever experienced.
The Killarney Town Councillor claims coalition policy has seen those with the least paying the most.
Speaking to Radio Kerry, Cllr O’Grady says he had to remain true to his political principles and therefore could not remain within the Labour party.
"We have Labour Ministers who are eternally at the forefront of announcement of cuts and bad news."
"I would say [they are] vying for prominent positions in front of cameras and microphones … I think the present Government are more right-wing than I have witnessed in my lifetime."
