Noonan: Ireland may not need credit line to exit bailout
Finance Minister Michael Noonan has said that Ireland may exit the bailout programme without a backup credit line.
Minister Noonan met with the IMF in Washington yesterday ahead of the 12th and final review by the Troika, which starts today.
The question of the emergency credit line is expected to dominate the visit.
The Irish Times has reported that Minister Noonan said Ireland was fully funded until 2015, so leaving the bailout without precautionary credit was not a big risk.
