Friday is 'National Slow Down Day'

Friday has been designated 'National Slow Down Day', according to An Garda Síochána's National Traffic Bureau.

As gardaí begin their October Bank Holiday road safety campaign, they have warned that almost 140,000 people have been fined for speeding on Irish roads.
