Man held over €20k drugs seizure in Clare

A man has been arrested in connection with a drug seizure in Shannon in Co Clare last night.

A planned search of a house in Finian Park was carried out at around 8.30pm, with €20,000 worth of cocaine seized along with a small amount of cannabis.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Shannon Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
