Offaly foundry jobs to be moved to France

Thirty-two jobs are at risk in Co Offaly, with the possible closure of the EJ iron foundry.

A statement from the company, which manufactures a range of manhole covers and drainage grates for the construction industry, said it is "fully committed to retaining a competitive Irish business with a sustainable future".
