A man has been arrested after a gun was discovered during a row in Dublin.

A man has been arrested after a gun was discovered during a row in Dublin.

The 48-year-old was detained at Rutland Grove in Crumlin at around 00.50am this morning.

Uniformed gardaí responding to a complaint about criminal damage intervened in a row between a number of men.

One of those involved was carrying a firearm, which was seized before he was arrested.

The man is being questioned at Sundrive Road Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
