House empty as armed gardaí continue search for murder suspect

Armed gardaí who surrounded a house in the hunt for a murder suspect have stood down the operation after establishing that the property was empty.

Garda officers had sealed off the area in Burnfoot, Co Donegal amid concerns 58-year-old Derry man Kieran McLaughlin was hiding inside.
