Report from third investigation in Savita death to be published

The report from the third investigation into the death of Savita Halappanavar is being published this afternoon.

The health watchdog HIQA has been looking at the safety, quality and standards of services provided by the HSE to patients, including pregnant women, at risk of clinical deterioration.

The report is expected to run into hundreds of pages - and might even recommend further investigations.
