Search resumes for missing fisherman in Clare
The search for a fisherman missing off the North Clare Coast will resume this morning.
The 42-year-old Latvian man was swept off rocks while fishing between Doolin and Fanore on Sunday evening and efforts by friends to save him failed.
Searches involving the Doolin Unit of the Irish Coast Guard, the Shannon-based Coast Guard Helicopter and Navy Divers continued yesterday but they were stood down due to deteriorating weather conditions.
The are expected to resume this morning.
