Man in critical condition after being found unconscious in Cork

Gardaí in Cork city are appealing for witnesses after a man was found unconscious on St Patrick's Quay last night.

Gardaí in Cork city are appealing for witnesses after a man was found unconcsious on St Patrick's Quay last night.

The 36-year-old was found collapsed at around 10pm, he was taken to Cork University Hospital where he is in a critical condition.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between 9pm and 10.30pm last night to contact them at Mayfield Garda Station.
