Crowne: FG 'lying' over Seanad figures

Senator John Crowne has accused Fine Gael of lying in relation to the savings to be made by scrapping the Seanad.

Speaking at a Newstalk debate on the Senand referendum held in Trinity College today, Senator Crowne rubbished Government claims that scrapping the upper house will save the taxpayer some €20m per year.
