A man has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a man in Tallaght.

A man has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a man in Tallaght.

James Humphries, a 32-year-old father-of-one, was stabbed to death on Sunday evening.

Trevor Corr of Kiltalown Way, Tallaght, appeared in custody before Judge Anthony Halpin at Tallaght District Court this afternoon.

He has been charged with the manslaughter of Mr Humphries.

Gardaí have objected to bail on a number of grounds but Judge Halpin has decided to reserve his decision until later this afternoon
