Fatal stabbing in Tallaght

Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 30s after a fatal stabbing in Tallaght in Dublin last night.
The incident happened at a house in Kiltalown Way at around 6.40pm yesterday evening.
It is believed he was stabbed after a row broke out with another man, and that he managed to stagger out of the house to raise the alarm.
Gardaí arrived and the victim was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.
Meanwhile, a knife believed to have been used in this killing has been recovered and a technical examination is also underway at the scene.
A post-mortem will take place later to establish exactly how the victim died.
