Man, 23, arrested over murder of Dean Johnson

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Dean Johnson in Dublin last month.

The 21-year-old was shot dead in Clondalkin in August.

Gardaí detained the 23-year-old man on the Neilstown Road in Clondalkin yesterday - he is being held at Lucan Garda Station under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Earlier this week, as part of the same investigation, a man appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of a shotgun following searches last week.
