Limerick gangland figure Ger Dundon has failed in appeal against his five-year sentence for violent disorder.

The Court of Criminal Appeal this afternoon found there was no error in principle in the five-year sentence imposed on Ger Dundon (aged 25) in February 2011 for violent disorder at Sarsfield Avenue, Garryowen on February 17, 2010.
