Lethal combination of drink and speed killed Offaly brothers, inquest told

A lethal combination of drink and speed led to the deaths of three brothers and their friend in Co Offaly last year, Coroner Brian Mahon told an inquest in Tullamore today.

Portarlington residents Lee Bryan (aged 24), Darren Doyle (aged 27), David Doyle (aged 24) and Ryan Doyle (aged 17) all died when their car crashed into a bus on the Tullamore to Portarlington Road on Friday, August 10, 2012.
