Man dies after trailer accident

A man has died after he was injured during an incident involving a trailer in Co Leitrim yesterday evening.

It happened on minor road in Aughnasheelin yesterday evening at around 6.30pm.

The body of the man, who is believed to have been aged in his 60s, was taken to Sligo General Hospital, where a post mortem examination will be carried out.

The Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
