Man due in court over Tallaght cash robbery

A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a cash in transit robbery in Tallaght earlier this week.

Two men, one armed with a shotgun and another brandishing a weapon, confronted a security worker as he was making a collection at Old Bawn on Monday.

They made off in a silver Toyota Avensis driven by a third man.

A man in his twenties, who was later arrested, is to be brought before Tallaght District Court this morning.
