Example always gets mistaken for winning a Poet of the Year competition after it was posted on his Wikipedia page.

The 'Changed the Way You Kiss Me' hitmaker has blasted "some idiot" for posting an entry on his Wikipedia page stating he was the winner of the 1993 Royal Mail Poet of the Year competition, and he gets reminded of the so-called achievement every time he is interviewed.

Speaking to comedian Chris Ramsey in the first of the Nando’s Grills - a fresh new interview series that brings two of the hottest celebrity friends together over a Nando’s meal – he said: "Everyone interviews me and they say, 'I'm here, he's had a few number ones and in 1993 he won the Royal Mail Poet of the Year competition.

"It's in every interview I've ever done because some idiot added it on my Wikipedia.

"It's even better when you go to Russia. The woman says something in Russian and I don't know what she's saying so it has to be translated.

"It's the first thing written on my Wikipedia!"
