Government 'insulting the intelligence of the Irish people'

The Green Party has said that the Government campaign to scrap the Seanad is "insulting the intelligence of the Irish people".

The party - which is not represented in the Upper House or the Dáil - says a 'No' vote in next month's referendum is one for political reform.
