Rise in TD working hours on Cabinet agenda
A small increase in working hours for TDs is reported to be on the agenda for this morning's Cabinet meeting.
According to The Irish Times, the Coalition is working on a number of measures to lengthen the Dáil's sitting time ahead of next month's Seanad referendum.
It is believed the first debate of the week will be moved to noon on Tuesdays, with debates on Wednesday and Thursday likely to be brought forward to 10am.
The Taoiseach has previously said that four-day sittings will become the "new norm".
Also up for discussion will be next month's Budget, with the focus on Troika requirements.
