Data shows almost third of children killed on roads had no seatbelt on

There has been a 89% reduction in the number of children killed on Irish roads over the past 15 years, according to the Road Safety Authority.

However, in 30% of crashes that resulted in the death of a child, no seatbelt or restraint was used.
