Irishman claims British Intelligence framed him

An Irishman appealing his imprisonment in Lithuania for attempting to smuggle arms to the Real IRA has said he has been framed by British Intelligence.

Michael Campbell is two years into a 12-year sentence for attempted smuggling and illegal possession of arms.

Campbell said he is being persecuted because his brother, Liam, was found liable for the Omagh bombing in a civil trial.

The court in Vilnius is to deliver its verdict on Campbell's appeal in October.
