Killorglin murder accused further remanded in custody

A 26-year old man has been further remanded in custody over the murders of a mother and her daughter in Kerry.

Aurimas Andruska appeared before Cork District Court this morning.

It was expected that the Book of Evidence would be served on the Lithuanian national, who has an address at Ardmoniel Heights, Killorglin.

However, the court heard that more time is needed and he will appear again in court on September 25.

He is charged with the double murder of Jolana Lubiene and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika in Killorglin on June 16.
