Woman trapped in luggage space of coach in Clare

An investigation is being launched after a woman cancer patient became trapped inside the baggage compartment of a Bus Eireann coach.

The bus travelled about 25 kilometres on a route in Co Clare before she was rescued.

It is understood she became trapped when she tried to retrieve a bag during a stopover.
